What is a PHOTOFACIAL?

Photofacial or photorejuvenation is a treatment based on intense pulses of broad spectrum light on the skin to stimulate the production of collagen and reduce redness and fine wrinkles.

It is a non-invasive procedure, with no recovery period (it can be integrated into daily activities immediately) and with an average duration of 30 minutes.

The photofacial is one of the most popular treatments used by dermatologists to treat conditions such as acne, rosacea, facial veins, cloth, sun spots, unwanted hair, open pores, etc., as well as for skin rejuvenation since it has the capacity to improve the premature aging of the skin caused by the sun.

After several sessions, you can see how the skin tone becomes more uniform, so that it is almost not necessary to use makeup, and the texture becomes smoother and smoother, giving it a healthier appearance.

Photofacial with intense pulsed light (IPL) is a treatment approved by the FDA, certifying its safety and benefit.

Remember that although it is a noble treatment and practically without risks, it is advisable to determine beforehand if it is a good candidate for photofacial treatment, especially taking into account the type of skin and the problem to be treated.
