Cell biostimulation

Biostimulation with platelet-rich plasma is a technique to prevent and manage the aging of the skin. It can be used as an individual therapy or accompanied with other treatments.

What are the applications of platelet-rich plasma?

In addition to improving the texture and tonality of the skin through the generation of collagen, the platelet-rich plasma can be a treatment to soften acne blemishes, soften scars, fine wrinkle removal, being its temporary effects greater than the products that are on the market. In some cases several sessions are necessary for really effective results although the results are noticed after 20 days of the first session.

The type of treatment that is applied in each case varies according to the needs of the patient and can be:

  • Specific plasma for facial rejuvenation.
  • Plasma for alopecias in eyebrows, eyelashes or scalp.
  • Plasma for traumatological degenerative processes.
  • Recovery of skin in wounds.
  • Venous ulcers.

The platelet-rich plasma technique for facial rejuvenation

The platelet-rich plasma technique for facial rejuvenation uses the power of the body itself to benefit our own skin, to improve its texture and tone. Through a blood sample, and subjecting it to a new and aseptic treatment, we can obtain the maximum number of platelets from your own blood, which we later introduce into your skin as injected mesotherapy, stimulating collagen formation to a great extent.

The PRP (platelet-rich plasma) for facial rejuvenation is designed for you specifically and with products produced by you. Due to its autologous nature it does not create an immune reaction of foreign body and does not entail risk of allergic reaction.

What results can I expect?

The results are not seen immediately but you have to wait at least a week and reach their maximum at 20-30 days. It is usually recommended to repeat the treatment at 4 weeks. And maintain a periodicity of 6 months. In each patient we must assess the degree of aging and modify the pattern depending on each skin.

This type of treatment can be combined with other therapies and especially with radiofrequency that increases the stimulation of local collagen and with physical peeling treatments such as diamond-tipped dermabrasion or fractionated CO2 laser.
